Weekend night work on Moorebank Avenue

Out of Hours work will be carried out at SIMTA’s Moorebank Intermodal Terminal  worksite on Sunday 20 February 2022.

SIMTA contractor BMD Constructions will be decommissioning traffic lights at the eastern access ramp on Moorebank Avenue diversion road as part of the Moorebank Intermodal Terminal development. This work involves line marking and signal changes.

Work will take place on Moorebank Avenue diversion road on Sunday 20 February between 8pm and 5am.

This work has been scheduled outside of regular construction hours to minimise disturbance to road users.

Work will involve light vehicles, line marking truck and hand tools. It is not expected to impact the nearest residences in Wattle Grove North and Casula.

Moorebank Avenue will remain open at all times. Traffic controllers will be in place to ensure the safety of all road users.
