Helicopter lifting works: Saturday 13 June 2026

Moorebank Intermodal Precinct contractors will be carrying out helicopter lifting works on Saturday 13 June 2026, between 7 am and 5 pm, weather permitting.

The work will involve short helicopter lifts within the site, lowering and delivery of equipment. Refuelling will also be undertaken as required.

Works will be carried out in accordance with the approved MPW South Management Plan Addendums including the MPW South Construction Noise and Vibration Management Plan Addendum.

This activity has been scheduled during weekend construction hours for safety reasons as the immediate surrounding area must be closed while the helicopter operation takes place.

Any changes to the scheduled lift will be published to the project website at moorebank.au

What to expect

This work will create additional background noise during normal construction hours.

Moorebank Avenue will not be affected and will remain open. Every effort will be made to minimise disruption to the local community, and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

• Moorebank Precinct West (west of Moorebank Avenue).
• Saturday 13 June, standard construction hours, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm, weather permitting.
