Out of hours work notification – service installation

Out of Hours work will soon be carried out to connect gas services to the Moorebank Intermodal Terminal development site.

Here’s what you need to know.

What we’re doing

SIMTA contractors will install gas lines under the Moorebank Avenue roadway situated near Anzac Road (click here to view map).

The work will take place between 27 May and 2 June, with the exception of Saturday 29 May. To minimise disruption to local businesses and road users, the work will be completed between the hours of 6pm to 6am.

Key work activities will include machinery use, excavation, placing of new pipes, and road reinstatement. All works will be completed in accordance with approved management plans.

How this may affect you

While Moorebank Avenue will remain open, traffic flow will be reduced to one lane. Motorists may experience minor delays.

Traffic controllers and temporary road safety barriers will be in place to ensure the safety of all road users. If you are using Moorebank Avenue during these times, please drive to conditions, obey roadwork speed limits and follow the directions of traffic controllers.

This work may create additional background noise.
