Out of hours work, Bapaume Road

Out of Hours work will be carried out at SIMTA’s Moorebank Intermodal Terminal worksite on Saturday 26 February 2022. 

SIMTA contractor BMD Constructions will be relocating electrical services in Bapaume Road as part of the Moorebank Intermodal Terminal development. This work involves installation of new poles and relocating power lines in the area.

Work will take place on Bapaume Road on Saturday 26 February between 7am and 6pm.

This work has been scheduled outside of regular construction hours to minimise disturbance to road users.

This work may create additional background noise from 7am to 6pm.

Work will involve light vehicles, pole erection truck, hand tools and elevated work platforms. It is not expected to impact the nearest residences in Wattle Grove North and Casula.

Bapaume Road will remain open at all times. Traffic controllers will be in place to ensure the safety of all road users a contraflow will be in place.
