Out-of-hours services work

Out of Hours work will be carried out at SIMTA’s Moorebank Intermodal Terminal worksite from Monday 17 January 2022.

SIMTA contractor BMD Constructions will be locating services running alongside and under Moorebank Avenue as part of the Moorebank Intermodal Terminal development. This work involves potholing to determine the location of services in the area.

Work will take place on Moorebank Avenue between Anzac Road and the M5 motorway on Sunday to Thursday nights from 16 January to 24 February, weather permitting.

This excludes 25 and 26 January.

Night work hours are from 8pm to 5am. This work has been scheduled outside of regular construction hours to minimise disturbance to road users.

This work may create additional background noise during 8pm to 7am. Work will involve light vehicles, saw cutting and vacuum truck. It is not expected to impact the nearest residences in Wattle Grove North and Casula. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Moorebank Avenue will remain open at all times.
