Out of hours fill importation – commencing 26 August 2022

Out of hours work will be carried out at the Moorebank Logistics Park commencing Friday 26 August and continuing until Friday 25 November, weather permitting. To minimise impacts and disruption to local businesses and road users, these works are proposed to be completed outside regular construction hours from 6.00am – 7.00am, Monday to Friday.

Contractors will be importing fill (primarily sandstone) onto the Moorebank Precinct West (MPW) site, which is permitted under the MPW Stage 2 consent (SSD 7709).

What to expect

As part of this work there will be truck movements along the South-Western Motorway (M5) and along Moorebank Avenue before entering the MPW site. Vehicles and machinery will be used to unload and stockpile material only.

The timing and duration of these works is a factor of the availability of material and demand for construction materials across Greater Sydney.

Moorebank Avenue and other local roads will remain open during this period, and other construction activities will remain within the regular construction hours, unless subject to a separate out-of-hours works approval.

Every effort will be made to minimise disruption to the local community, and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
