Out-of-hours fill importation

Out of hours works are intended to be undertaken shortly at the Moorebank Logistics Park site.

SIMTA contractors will be importing fill material (primarily sandstone) onto the southern area of the Moorebank Precinct West (MPW) site, as permitted under the MPW Stage 1 consent (SSD 5066).

Trucks will access MPW via Moorebank Avenue and deliver fill to the southern end of the site adjacent to the East Hills railway line. Vehicles and machinery will unload and stockpile the material.

The works are intended to continue until 29 April. The timing and extended duration of these works is in response to material availability and demand across Greater Sydney, as well as in response to impacts that the Covid-19 pandemic has had on the construction sector.

All works will be completed in accordance with the approved MPW Stage 1 management plans, available on the SIMTA website.

Please be advised that during this period there may be additional background noise generated during 12:00am Monday – 6:00am Saturday. Every effort will be made to minimise disruption to the local community and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
