Helicopter movements for solar panel installation

SIMTA contractor Hansen Yuncken and its sub-contractors will be using a helicopter to install solar panels to the roof of the warehouse under construction at the northern end of Moorebank Precinct East in coming weekends.

The work, being carried out outside of standard construction hours for safety reasons, is scheduled for Saturday March 9 and Sundays March 10 and 17, weather permitting. Scheduled work hours are 8am to 4pm each day.

Residents and businesses nearby and motorists using Moorebank Avenue may notice increased noise at times during the work and may notice the helicopter operating above the site. There will be respite periods during each day’s work.

Traffic will not be affected during this work.
