Helicopter lifting: 17 December

Moorebank Logistics Park contractors will be carrying out helicopter lifting work to deliver plant and equipment to the rooftop of warehouses at the precinct on Saturday December 17.

The work will involve short helicopter lifts within the site, lowering and delivery of equipment. Refuelling will also be undertaken as required. This activity has been scheduled outside of weekday construction hours for safety reasons as the rest of the site must be closed while the helicopter operation takes place.

All work will take place within standard Saturday construction hours from 8am – 1pm.

Please note this work is subject to weather conditions and may be delayed at short notice. Any updates will be published to the project website.

This work will create additional background noise. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

The contractors will make every effort to minimise noise generation and disturbance to nearby residents and businesses as much as possible, however nearest properties in Casula and Wattle Grove are likely to experience periods of noise impacts due to the nature and location of the helicopter lifts.

Any traffic movement associated with the helicopter lifting activity will be minimal and Moorebank Avenue will remain open at all times.
