Changes to access on Bapaume Road

SIMTA contractor Liberty Industrial will be carrying out work from next Wednesday, 11 July 2018, that will impact traffic arrangements on Bapaume Road at Moorebank.

The work is part of ongoing early works for Moorebank Intermodal Terminal and will require traffic control on Bapaume Road, including Stop/Go arrangements under the direction of traffic controllers.

Construction activities will require Liberty Industrial and subcontractor crews in trucks and light vehicles to cross Bapaume Road as they complete site remediation ahead of construction commencement.

All activities will be carried out during standard construction hours of 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm Saturday. No work will be carried out on Sundays or public holidays.

Trucks will come and go from site via Chatham Avenue toward the southern end of the site – construction traffic will be only across Bapaume Road and will not travel via Bapaume Road.
