Bracknells Warehousing & Distribution has secured a pre-lease for a 19,029 sqm warehouse in the southern region of the Moorebank Intermodal Precinct (MIP).
Bracknells is a family-owned contract logistics business that provides fast, reliable warehousing and transportation solutions across Sydney. The company services a broad range of sectors and some of Australia’s largest businesses in FMCG, packaging, media, and pharmaceuticals.
As part of MIP, Bracknells will benefit from seamless connectivity to Australia’s largest IMEX and Interstate rail freight intermodal terminals, enabling more efficient and cost-effective transport of goods both across the country and to and from Port Botany by rail.
This direct interstate and dedicated Port Botany rail access and proximity to major road networks in western Sydney and Sydney Airport means Bracknells can streamline its supply chain, reduce reliance on road transport, and improve customer delivery times.
In addition to its prime logistics advantages, the new warehouse will target a 5 Star Green Star Design & As Built v1.3 rating supported by sustainable features such as 1MW of rooftop solar power and battery storage, 20,000 litres of potable and rainwater storage with reuse systems, and energy-efficient technologies. These eco-friendly features align with Bracknells’ commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and operating more sustainably.
Bracknells’ new strategic location at MIP will expand the company’s operations, enhance its integrated warehousing services, and help meet customers’ needs in a fast-paced, environmentally conscious market.
Bracknells partnered with TMX Transform as its representative in procuring its new facility, and both worked with ESR to carefully scope and integrate Bracknells’ requirements into the base build.
The Moorebank Intermodal Precinct, one of Australia’s most advanced logistics hubs, is designed to support the evolving demands of modern warehousing and distribution, with an emphasis on efficiency and sustainability.
