Daytime and night works on Moorebank Avenue throughout April

SIMTA contractors will be carrying out utility investigation and installation work adjacent to Moorebank Avenue throughout April.

Work will be carried out during regular construction hours and as night works when required to minimise impacts to motorists during the morning and afternoon peak periods. Work will take place between the Holsworthy-Glenfield rail line and the M5 Motorway, as well as on Anzac Rd. Some night works will restrict access to the Piccolo Me cafe driveway.

Work involves saw cutting, trenching, utility work, vacuum tucks and hand tools. At the completion of each night shift, all work areas across driveways or road surfaces will be restored to a temporary trafficable surface in order to be open for vehicles each day.

Changed traffic conditions will be in place at times, including contra-flow arrangements and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h during the work. Please follow the direction of traffic controllers and look for advice regarding changed traffic conditions on digital messaging boards.
