Helicopter lifting works: Rescheduled to Saturday 8 July 2023

Helicopter lifting works previously scheduled to occur at Moorebank Intermodal Precinct on Saturday 1 July during standard construction hours will now occur on Saturday 8 July between 8am and 1pm, weather permitting.

Project contractor Hansen Yuncken will use a helicopter to lift mechanical equipment from the staging area to the roof space on Warehouse 7 located at Moorebank Precinct East (east of Moorebank Avenue).

Refuelling if required, will be conducted in the staging area. Works will be carried out in accordance with the MPE 2 Consent and approved Construction Noise and Vibration Management Plan.

Any changes to this scheduled lift will be notified on this website.

What to expect

This work will create additional background noise during normal construction hours.

Moorebank Avenue will remain open at all times. Any traffic movement associated with the helicopter lifting activity will be minimal. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
