The Committee provides a forum for open dialogue between ESR Group and National Intermodal (the proponents), representatives of the local community, Liverpool City Council, and key stakeholders on issues directly relating to the precinct.

Committee members are expected to contribute constructively to discussions, attend approximately four meetings per year, and communicate information about MIP between the Committee and the broader community.

About the precinct

ESR Group is at the forefront of delivering the Moorebank Intermodal Precinct (MIP) – Australia’s largest intermodal logistics precinct and one of the nation’s most significant infrastructure projects.

The precinct addresses the escalating demand for freight movement along the East Coast, transforming the movement of goods nationwide. By enhancing productivity in the freight industry, MIP plays a pivotal role in ensuring sustainable outcomes for national industrial development.

National Intermodal are delivering the realignment of an existing two-kilometre section of Moorebank Avenue, from approximately 130 metres south of the existing Anzac Road/Moorebank Avenue intersection to immediately north of the East Hills Railway. This will be constructed as a new two-lane road, east of the existing Moorebank East Precinct.

Applications are currently being accepted for our Community Consultative Committee.

ESR Group and National Intermodal are inviting members of the community to join our Community Consultative Committee for the Moorebank Intermodal Precinct.
