Asbestos removal, Moorebank Precinct West

SIMTA contractor BMD will be removing bonded asbestos contaminated material from Moorebank Precinct West during the week commencing 30 March.

Work will be undertaken in accordance with Work Safe requirements (under licence) and include air monitoring to ensure no asbestos particles leave the work area.

As part of the control measures, the work crew are required to wear full body suits and masks. These workers may be visible to Moorebank Avenue road users.

The work is approved under SSD7628, following the procedures outlined in the CEMP/Contamination Management Plan, by BMD and its Work Cover-licenced sub-contractor.
