Traffic control on Bapaume Road from Thursday 29 September

We will be changing traffic conditions on Bapaume Road.

BMD Constructions will shortly be constructing a new access road from Bapaume Road to the new Loop Road.

To complete these works safely, a section of Bapaume Road will be reduced to one lane and operate under traffic control from Thursday 29 September 2022 for approximately six months, weather permitting (map below).

Portable traffic signals will be operational during the long-term lane closure. There will also be changes to the pedestrian walkway at each stage of construction.

Traffic

Bapaume Road will remain open at all times. A pedestrian walkway will be maintained at all times during the construction works.

The speed limit in this section of road will be reduced to 40km/hr and temporary road safety barriers will separate the work zone from travel path during construction.

Construction hours

Our standard construction hours are between 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday, Saturday between 8am and 1pm.
