Service installation under Moorebank Avenue

SIMTA contractor BMD Constructions will be locating sewer services under Moorebank Avenue as part of the Moorebank Intermodal Terminal development.

The work will be carried out as night-works between Monday 2 March and Friday 13 March, from 8am to 5am daily.

Activities include survey location, pot holing and excavating.

This work has been scheduled outside of regular construction hours to avoid disruption to local businesses and road users.

This work may create additional background noise. It will involve lighting towers, light vehicles, excavator, a generator and sawing. It is not expected to impact the nearest residences in Wattle Grove North and Casula.

Moorebank Avenue will remain open at all times. Contra-flow will be set up, this will take place under the supervision of traffic controllers. Please drive to the conditions, obey roadwork speed limits and follow the directions of traffic controllers.
