Out of hours work notification – Moorebank Avenue road work

Current Works
Friday 30th April 2021

Out of hours road work will soon be completed on Moorebank Avenue as part of the Moorebank Intermodal Terminal development.

Concrete traffic barriers will be placed in four locations along Moorebank Avenue to allow preparatory work to be completed for the Moorebank Avenue road diversion (click here to see map).

The existing lane markings between Anzac Road and the IMEX terminal entrance will also be shifted slightly to the east.

The work will take place between 17 and 29 May. To minimise disruption to road users, the work will be completed between the hours of 8pm to 7am.

Moorebank Avenue will remain open while these works are completed, with traffic controllers and other traffic controls in place to ensure the safety of all road users.

If you are using Moorebank Avenue during this time, please drive to conditions, obey road work speed limits and follow the directions of traffic controllers.

Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) has granted approval for these works. All work will be completed in accordance with approved management plans.

The concrete barriers and lane markings will remain in place until the Moorebank Avenue diversion road opens in mid-2021.

If you require further information or have any concerns, please feel free to contact SIMTA (Sydney Intermodal Terminal Alliance) on 1800 986 465 (24/7) or simta@elton.com.au
