Out of hours work: January to February 2026

As part of the Moorebank Intermodal Precinct project, out of hours works will continue from Sunday 11 January 2026 until Friday 27 February 2026.

Project contractor, BMD Constructions, will be undertaking out of hours works to upgrade Moorebank Avenue and the Moorebank Avenue and Anzac Road Intersection.

This work has been scheduled outside of regular construction hours to minimise the impact to road users and local businesses and includes but is not limited to:

·       Utility relocation/upgrades

·       Pavement works

Upgrade works are scheduled on Sunday to Saturday nights from 6pm to 7am. Extended Saturday works from 7am to 6pm.

What to expect

This work will create additional background noise. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Work will involve excavating, saw cutting and asphalt works, installing pipes and conduits that will require the use of light vehicles, excavators, rollers, an asphalt pave compaction equipment, bogie trucks and lighting towers.

Moorebank Avenue and Anzac Road will remain open at all times.

Out of hours work:

·       6.00pm – 7:00am, Sunday to Saturday

·       7.00am – 6.00pm Saturdays

Standard construction hours:

·       7.00am – 6.00pm Monday to Friday

·       8.00am – 1.00pm Saturdays
