Helicopter lifting works: Saturday 29 November 2025

Moorebank Intermodal Precinct contractors will be carrying out helicopter lifting works on Saturday 29 November 2025, between 8 am and 5 pm, weather permitting.

The work will involve short helicopter lifts within the site, lowering and delivery of equipment. Refuelling will also be undertaken as required.

Works will be carried out in accordance with the approved MPW Stage 2 management plans, (available on the project website at moorebank.au) and Construction Noise and Vibration Management Plan.

This activity has been scheduled during weekend construction hours for safety reasons as the immediate surrounding area must be closed while the helicopter operation takes place.

Any changes to the scheduled lift will be published to this project website.

What to expect

This work will create additional background noise during normal construction hours.

Moorebank Avenue will not be affected and will remain open. Every effort will be made to minimise disruption to the local community, and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

• Moorebank Precinct West (west of Moorebank Avenue).
• Saturday 29 November, standard construction hours, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, weather permitting.
